This Greek Xiphos has a leaf blade forged from high carbon steel; the hilt is steel with carved wood riveted to a thick tang to construct the grip. A steel guard and pommel cap complete the hilt. This Xiphos is replicated from surviving historical designs; its blade exhibits notable distal taper which ensures that it is a swift and agile performer. The well-carved and contoured grip fits nicely into the palm. This Replica Greek Xiphos has a solid wood grip and a sharp high carbon steel blade .The scabbard is handcrafted from wood and bound in leather. Excellent realistic feeling. Fully functional and battle ready, specially designed for reenactments.
